EV Chargers & Load Management
We install home EV chargers and the circuits that supply them. We check the existing electrical capacity and discuss charger placement, wiring and whether load management is appropriate for your installation.
Vadin Electric is an electrician serving Cochrane, Calgary, Airdrie, Rocky View County and Foothills County, Alberta.
What We Can Help With
- Home EV charger installation
- Dedicated charging circuits
- Charger location and wiring assessment
- Electrical capacity assessment
- EV load management systems
When load management may help
An EV charger does not automatically require a service upgrade. Depending on your existing system and charging requirements, load management may be an option. The appropriate setup is confirmed through an assessment.
What to include in your request
Include your vehicle or charger model if known, where you park, and whether you’ve already purchased a charger.
Common questions
Should I buy an EV charger before contacting an electrician?
Discuss the installation first. Electrical capacity, mounting location, cable reach and manufacturer requirements can affect which charger is suitable for your property.
